Anca Poterasu Gallery is a contemporary art gallery, located in the iconic area of the historic center of Bucharest, on 26 Popa Soare Str. Founded in 2011, the gallery has played an important role in the Romanian art scene, promoting and presenting both emerging and establish artists working with various medium: photography, video, installation, sculpture, paintings. The exhibition program is centred on curatorial practices that encourage collaborations with local and international art scene.

In 2015, Anca Poterașu founded Romanian Association of Contemporary Art (ARAC) and introduced one of the first international residency programs for artists and curators. Since 2023, ARAC has been relocated on the first floor of the same building as the gallery. This initiative aimed to cultivate a sustainable network based on conversations and collaborations.

Anca Poterasu Gallery together with ARAC has been actively involved in educational and public education projects, discussions with leading national and international artists, round tables and workshops aimed at deepening the understanding of art history and contemporary art in Central and Eastern Europe.

The gallery participates in numerous art fairs, to name a few: NADA MIAMI and New York; Paris Photo; Arco Lisboa – where it was awarded for best booth presentation, NADA Art Brussels, Frieze Sculpture, Arco Madrid, Loop Barcelona, Vienna Art Fair, Artissima.
