Cold Archive
“Cold Archive” is a combination of installation and intervention, created within the former glucose factory site (now Hotel Caro).
Inside, a Soviet refrigerator can be seen only from the outside, functioning as an object that “stores” not things, but fragments of memory.
The images and texts do not present a fixed history, but suggest a possible narrative, an urban legend connected to the place.
The work reflects on how memory is built from incomplete, uncertain, or distorted fragments over time.

I am ORHAN, a contemporary artist, with roots between Bucharest and London. My art does not seek comfort—it seeks confrontation. I don’t paint to beautify the world, but to expose its wounds. I speak about war, corruption, manipulation, and freedoms stolen by force. My characters are neither saviors nor victims. They are lucid witnesses of a world slipping into darkness. Red is everywhere—it’s blood, it’s complicity, it’s the silence that kills.I don’t create art to be liked. I create art to hurt. To shake. To awaken.
