The work is a tribute to the victims of the tragedy of October 30, 2015, which took place at the Colectiv nightclub in Bucharest, and expresses a refusal to remain indifferent in the face of an event that profoundly marked Romanian society.

The sculpture explores the fragility of the human condition in moments of extreme crisis. The soundproofing material, one of the factors that fueled the fire, is reinterpreted and cast in bronze using the lost-wax technique, transforming a flammable element into a symbol of enduring memory.

The stone evokes resilience and permanence over time. Together, these elements form a visual parable about vulnerability, collective memory, and responsibility.
