Fallen rainbow

The installation proposes a poetic inversion of symbols: the rainbow—often seen as a triumphant arc of hope after the “storm,” a divine guarantee of salvation of any kind—becomes a vulnerable, fallen, and weary element. Propped up by bamboo crutches—a natural material, flexible yet resilient—the rainbow is no longer just an abstract entity, but one that requires support, at least for a while, in anticipation of better days.

What do you do when the ineffable, innocence, and longing are brought to the ground? You prop them up on crutches—and see what comes next.
