"Mountain Shrimp" explores the rapid, often artificial evolution of species adapting to climate change, blending nature and technology in a desperate attempt to survive. The sculpture depicts a shrimp that develops arctic camouflage and mechanical locomotion to escape a hostile ocean, only to find the melting ice offers no refuge. It delivers a stark message on the inefficiency of technological adaptation in the face of environmental collapse, urging a fundamental rethinking of our relationship with nature.
