Regina
“Regina” (2025), presented in a duo show at Galeria Catinca Tabacaru, functions as the point of origin for this series. The sculpture takes the form of a vertical, almost ritualistic presence, evoking at once the idea of a protective body, a vital column, and an architecture of birth. The title suggests an inaugural movement—not a spectacular one, but a profound, primordial gesture associated with beginnings, the emergence of life, and the invisible force that sustains it.
Here, “Regina” is not a figure of power, but a matrix-like entity: a form that shelters, transmits, and preserves, suggesting that evolution is not an act of conquest, but a process of care and continuity.
