UR(N)A SUVERANISTA
Visitors to RAD see an urn with one transparent side, and without any instructions, they can reach inside and take out a ball. And they will. They will open it. They can open several balls, put them back or not. There are no rules. Curiosity alone determines how many balls you open and whether you return the messages or not. You can take a ball home or open another one. You might even disrupt or damage the contents in the process, but that doesn’t matter. Each day, the artist will replenish the urn with fresh balls containing the same type of messages, so that it remains roughly half full, comfortable to reach into and continues to hold around 1,000 balls.
Deniz Constantin
Deniz Constantin is a digital marketer by trade. During a solo trip in southeast Asia in 2019, he discovered painting and he has been painting ever since. He currently likes to explore most styles, such as expressionism, abstraction and his goal is to become also fluent in realism, as he wants these influences to converge together in the canvases created.
Constantin has had a solo show in February 2021, curated by Eugen Radescu, the director of the Bucharest Biennale.
