Visuri suspendate

As part of the project “Shelter for Uncertain Times,” created in Siliștea Snagovului, I developed an installation composed of unconventional hammocks woven from textile fibers. Each piece opens like a living organism, vividly colored and dotted with “spikes” evoking resilient plants such as cacti or thistles, capable of surviving where shade is absent.
Suspended between protection and exposure, the hammocks reimagine fragments of nature as spaces for rest and encounter. Together, they form a temporary shelter, a fragile architecture of community, where color becomes a shared language and stillness turns into a form of dreaming.
