The organic form, inspired by a shell, explores the tension between protection and expansion. The open structure, with its radial extensions, suggests an organism in transformation, preserving both the raw energy of the gesture and the apparent fragility of matter in the process of becoming.
Irina Tănase
Irina Tănase is a Romanian sculptor born in 1998, known for her evocative and symbolically rich artworks. A graduate of the National University of Arts in Bucharest. Her artistic universe often revolves around the motif of the mermaid—a symbol she associates with strength, love, and the duality of beauty and pain.
Currently, some of her works are part of private collections both in Romania and abroad, while others are on display at the Faculty of Philosophy and the 1001 Arte Gallery in Bucharest.
