Banca Transilvania Launches Annual Acquisition Prize at RAD Art Fair 2025

RAD Art Fair is proud to announce the inaugural Banca Transilvania Prize, awarded this year to artist Tincuța Marin, presented by Plan B Gallery.

This marks the second consecutive year that Banca Transilvania joins RAD as the fair’s presenting partner, deepening its commitment to the local contemporary art scene. More than a sponsor, the bank plays an active role in strengthening Romania’s cultural landscape by investing directly in the practices and futures of emerging artists.

The Banca Transilvania Prize is a newly launched initiative: an annual acquisition award granted to one outstanding artwork presented at RAD. It reflects both a deep appreciation for artistic excellence and a long-term commitment to the continuity and sustainability of contemporary art in Romania.
