Redesign the Normal Beer Can – RAD Edition

We’re calling on visual artists and graphic designers to reimagine the Normal Beer logo on a 330ml can. The beer itself & the name stay the same — what changes is the design, the label, the energy. This is your chance to see your work on 10,000 cans, distributed across 30 venues, plus:

  • €500 cash prize

  • 500 beers for your own summer party

  • RAD VIP pass

Design Area & Technical Specifications

The Normal Beer can is a 330 ml aluminum can with a full wrap layout.

Can dimensions (unwrapped):
•⁠ ⁠Total unfolded layout: 208 × 88 mm

To keep all mandatory legal information intact (ingredients, barcode, recycling symbols, etc.), artists will intervene only on the front-facing area of the can.

Design area:
•⁠ ⁠Active design zone: 101 × 88 mm

This is the main visible panel of the can (the area where the logo is prominently displayed).

‼️ All legal and technical elements outside this area must remain untouched.

Application Guidelines

  • This call is open to anyone based in Romania –– regardless of age, background, or nationality.

  • Creatively reinterpret the Normal Beer logo — your style, your vision.

  • Designs must be adapted to the provided can template and the 330 ml format, ensuring print-ready quality.

  • File formats accepted: JPG, PNG, TIFF, PDF.

  • Only one submission per artist.

  • RAD & Normal Beer reserve the right to print the winning design on 10,000 cans.
