Plague Fatigue

Although the artist employs elements of dark symbolism, occult references, and almost horror-like scenarios, her approach seeks to find a balance between light and darkness, human and non-human, presence and absence. By exploring these gray areas, Calinovici creates distorted realities where dualities either merge or reverse.

Once the veil of opposing meanings is lifted, her art emerges—like something unearthly—both beautiful and dreadful.
